The Jacksonville Jaguars have been perpetually bad since the owner, Shad Khan bought the team in 2011. Many fans believed the abysmal 2020 record would be difficult to beat. However, the Urban Meyer-led Jaguars proved anything is possible.
Walker Little may be the most interesting offensive lineman in the entire 2021 NFL Draft class. Having not taken an in-game snap since late August of 2019, there are some fair concerns about the Stanford man. However, in the games that he played in, Little played every bit like a top-class NFL offensive lineman prospect.
The San Francisco 49ers had a rough 2020 season, winning just six games. Their biggest free agent is Richard Sherman and they will have to attack the secondary in this upcoming draft. Just over a week ago now, the 49ers made a blockbuster trade-up to the third overall pick, which the whole world expects to be in order to take one of the top quarterbacks. Besides cornerback and quarterback, their next biggest need is offensive line help. They currently have three picks in the fifth round and one in each of the other rounds.
After tanking a promising season, the Pittsburgh Steelers look to have one last shot at a Super Bowl. Up against the cap, Pittsburgh needs to strike on multiple picks to fill enormous voids. They simply cannot afford to miss on any picks in this draft.
The Baltimore Ravens were mainly quiet in free agency as they usually are. Aside from trying to sign a veteran wide receiver, the Ravens had only one meaningful signing, adding former New York Giants’ guard Kevin Zeitler. Despite losing a couple of starters, the Ravens don’t have many holes on paper to fill in the draft.
Heading into the offseason, the Baltimore Ravens have several free agents that need new contracts. Furthermore, the Ravens need to work on extensions for Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews. With a Super Bowl contending roster, let’s take a look at how the Ravens could attack the 2021 NFL Draft in this seven-round mock draft.
