The Philadelphia 76ers enter every season as one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. They backed it up in the regular season last year, finishing with a 49-23 record. However, Doc Rivers’ squad still came up short, falling in the second round to the Atlanta Hawks.
For the month of June, we will be ranking the top 10 NBA players at each position. These rankings will be based only on the 2020-21 regular season and will not include any injured players.
The Atlanta Hawks made things look easy in their first-round matchup against the New York Knicks. The Knicks were one of the NBA’s best teams defensively but they could not contain Trae Young, as he scored 30 or more points in three of the five games.
