NHL DFS DraftKings Ice Picks February 21st, 2019

Thursday, February 21st’s NHL card has 11 games on tap. Two games have me very intrigued and lead the way by a good margin over the rest of the offerings for high event matches. Washington at Toronto and San Jose at Pittsburgh(especially) could go off for a plethora of goals. Also, Buffalo at Tampa Bay and New York Islanders at Edmonton are on my radar.

This makes things more interesting and perhaps more challenging for us to find a winning combination of players because the pool to pick from is so much greater on these nights. Florida at Pittsburgh, Columbus at Tampa Bay, Colorado at Winnipeg, and Edmonton at San Jose are where my focus will be, so let’s get going.

Blackhawks beat Pittsburgh again. What about other active winning streaks?

Pittsburgh Penguins won eight straight games going to Sunday night, but as soon as they learned Their opponent would be, the Penguins knew the streak would come to an end. The Blackhawks defeated the Penguins for tenth straight time and in comeback fashion. The Pens scored two early goals to jump to a 2-0 lead, but Chicago came back to win 5-3 to offer a little bit of consolation for fans from Windy City.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Wild begin the eight-game Thursday slate at an odd 2 p.m. eastern time with all other games beginning at the more normal 7 p.m. time slot. We will focus our attention on the evening match-ups. Tampa Bay, Washington, and the Vancouver/Montreal game are all good spots to build your roster.
