Three years ago, the Los Angeles Rams took Jared Goff with the number one overall pick. It was a draft choice that came down to Goff and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. Both have had success at this point in their careers but with the Eagles signing Wentz to a four-year, $128 million extension. It warrants the question of whether or not the Rams took the right quarterback.
When you got drafted first overall in 2018, I was one of the happiest people ever. Though I’m not a big Cleveland Browns fan, I always like to see teams that are failing get turned around. I knew you would be a good pick, but you were legendary. You broke multiple rookie records and nearly got the Browns into the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.

Week 7 streaming went pretty well if you tuned in. Hope you snagged some of the featured players. Unfortunately, Ricky Seals-Jones got injured and did not return to the blowout game Thursday night. Let’s get right to Week 8.
Previously in this multi-article chain, I went over the quarterbacks from the ’40’s to ’65. The QB position changed in that quarter century from a man who hands the ball off to a man who throws the football down the field. However, the QB position would change even more in this eleven-year span than it did in the previous 25-year span.
Has anyone noticed that my “boom” plays go boom a week or two after I feature them? So unfortunate in the timing. Albert Wilson, c’mon man! Went off this past week. And don’t even get me started on Mason Crosby. Recommended him last week, and he saw plenty of opportunities and missed everything. If he hit all 6 of his kicks including his extra point attempt he would’ve had 21 points. 21. From a kicker. Then he goes and scores 17 against the Niners the next week.
The QB position is the most important on the football field and possibly in sports. Here are all the starting QBs ranked through the first five weeks of the NFL season.

But also, congrats for having the best fantasy quarterback come year end. Matt Stafford is also on a bye. In the next six weeks there will be a need to stream, so tell your friends where you got your streaming options. Or don’t – if you want them to lose their matchup.
Bye weeks are in full swing. Streaming the right QBs, TEs and defenses will help you get a big win when some of your best players are out on a bye. And with the tight end position littered with injuries, streaming might be necessary every week.
Week 3 brought us the emergence of Baker Mayfield in Cleveland. He led the Browns to a comeback victory over the New York Jets and Sam Darnold. Baker won the first battle of many between the top two quarterbacks of the 2018 draft and looked damn good in relief of Tyrod Taylor. The fantasy quarterback battle of the century between Big Ben and Ryan Fitzpatrick did not disappoint at all and the Rams look like the team to beat this year and are a complete fantasy juggernaut. Oh yeah, and the Bills beat the Vikings in Minnesota.
