The Los Angeles Rams took on the Cleveland Browns in what was a star-studded matchup. Despite the numerous names headlining this game, it was a low scoring affair which ended in a Rams 20-13 win. This win propels the Rams to 3-0 and upholds their tie for the lead in the NFC West.
2018 was a forgetful year for the Cardinals. The team only won three games with two coming against the 49ers who were the second-worst team in the league, while the Cardinals were the worst. Their other win came against the Green Bay Packers which forced the Packers to fire Mike McCarthy. The team was plagued by terrible offensive play and an abysmal offensive line. The team is under a full rebuild and will look completely different this year with Steve Wilks fired and replaced by Kliff Kingsbury bringing in a whole new dimension the NFL has never seen.
The San Francisco 49ers had a rough season in 2018, going 4-12 and being the second-worst team in the NFL. Their season was marred by injuries, with Jimmy Garoppolo getting hurt early, Jerick McKinnon not playing at all, and Matt Breida getting hurt after dominating in the run game.
Ryan Potts predicts two of the four NFC divisions will have new leaders in 2019.
2018 was a better year than most Seahawks fans probably anticipated. The team set out to run the ball more, and that was exactly what they did by leading the NFL in rushing yards per game with an average of 160 yards. With a much-improved run game, the team didn’t have to rely on Russell Wilson trying to make a play every down behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league. The Seahawks finished the season 10-6, making it their seventh straight winning season and their sixth playoff appearance in that same time frame. While they lost a heart-breaker against the Dallas Cowboys 24-22 in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, it’s hard to be upset when your team overperforms during the regular season.
The Los Angeles Rams have their full artillery back in effect going into this season which is trouble for opposing teams. The return of wide-receiver Cooper Kupp gives the Rams a weapon they did not have for the majority of last year.
Andersen Pickard shares his thoughts on digital artist Addison Foote’s redesigned logos for all 16 NFC teams.
The Los Angeles Rams took many huge strides last season as a franchise. Most notably making the Super Bowl. However, last season left them with just as many questions about themselves as it did answers.
