College Football Top 25: Week 1
The 2021 college football season is finally here, and it truly causes for excitement. Yes, Week 0 was already played but there was not much to talk about in terms of the teams involved.

We talked about week zero for approximately 15 minutes. In that time, we gave out some picks and discussed some of the matchups. In the other hour, we talked about so much unplanned stuff that I honestly don’t remember all that we covered. But, that is what usually happens. We will treat this as a surprise and let you be stunned by all the impromptu topics we discussed.
Conference USA has a ton of great football programs, even if we don’t hear much about them throughout the season. This could be the year, however, that this conference really gets recognized.
With the recent groundbreaking news that Texas and Oklahoma will join the SEC, the Big 12 is now headed to shambles. The conference can’t survive without its two biggest teams and, ultimately, a massive conference realignment is likely in store.`
The only thing better than winning a bet is winning a bet that you placed in the past. With the College Football season rapidly approaching us, why don’t we go ahead and look at some of the best futures for the 2021 season?
The College Football Playoffs announced last week that they will consider expanding the playoff to 12 teams has seriously sparked debate over the last couple of days. The plan is expected to go through and the earliest we could see this implemented is 2023.
The College Football Playoff committee has officially proposed a 12-team playoff expansion. While expansion has been inevitable, and with it likely being a few years before we see any expansion, the new proposal is bad.
After a season in which college football graduated star wide receivers like DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, and Ja’Marr Chase, some new talent is coming to the forefront. This year’s wide receiver group is a really strong one, with a good amount of question marks in there as well.
Possibly the top catcher off the board in July, Adrian Del Castillo brings a solid left-handed bat to the draft. There are questions about him sticking behind the plate, but we will get into that and much more in his draft profile.
After a few bumps in the road, right-handed pitcher Kevin Abel has returned to be very good this season for the Oregon State Beavers. Let’s take a look at the starter who projects to go possibly in the top two rounds of this year’s MLB amateur draft in July.
With the college basketball season being over for a while now, the transfer portal starting to take shape, and recruiting classes being filled, it’s time to get ready for another season. If this upcoming season is anything like the last, we are in for a real treat. Baylor took home the title in one of the best tournaments of late. Now, however, we look towards the future and our early top 25 for the 2021-2022 season.
Villanova over Georgetown. UMBC downing Virginia. Middle Tennessee State dumping Michigan State. Upsets are what put the madness into March Madness, and that’s why they are so beloved by the masses.
