There is not a lot to choose from in terms of sheer number of games for tonight’s Monday edition of Weekly Wagers. That said, there are a handful of MLB contests on the docket and a pair of playoff games in both the NHL and NBA.

The Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in six games in the first round, and Nikola Jokic was dominant all series. Even without Jamal Murray, the Nuggets are still a contending team.

The Atlanta Hawks made things look easy in their first-round matchup against the New York Knicks. The Knicks were one of the NBA’s best teams defensively but they could not contain Trae Young, as he scored 30 or more points in three of the five games.
The second round of the NBA playoffs is now upon us and what a matchup we have here. The Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo face off against the Brooklyn Nets and their big three.
