The Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t have asked for a better season in 2020-2021, as they finished it with their first NBA title in 50 years.
The New York Knicks were one of the most surprising teams in the 2020-2021 NBA Season. ESPN projected the Knickerbockers to land in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. They took all the hate and turned it into a spectacular year.
The Los Angeles Lakers finished the 2020-21 season with a 42-30 record. Los Angeles struggled with injuries all year long, with the team’s key players missing several games throughout the campaign.
The Miami Heat had a disappointing year last season, as they were unable to capitalize on their NBA Finals appearance in 2020. They went from Eastern Conference Champions to being swept out of the first round by the eventual NBA Champions.
The Los Angeles Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard to start the season so let’s look at the rest of the roster and how they’ll fare.
The Utah Jazz had a golden opportunity to make it to the Western Conference finals last postseason. The Los Angeles Clippers lost their superstar Kawhi Leonard to injury and it looked like the Jazz would have an easy path to the conference finals. Utah lost the series 4-2 and was sent home disappointed once again.
After making the play-in tournament last season without Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors look to build off their success in the 2021-22 season.
Last season looked promising for the Philadelphia 76ers. They finished the regular season as the number one seed and an MVP candidate in Joel Embiid leading the way.
What a tale of two seasons it was last season for the Atlanta Hawks. After a tough start, the team fired head coach Lloyd Pierce and promoted former Indiana Pacers head coach Nate McMillan to head coach. After McMillan was promoted, the Hawks took off.
In the 2020-2021 NBA season, the Boston Celtics finished the season with a 36-36 record. The team was projected to be an elite contender for the Eastern Conference title but failed to live up to those high expectations.
The Minnesota Timberwolves finished the 2020-21 NBA season with the sixth-lowest winning percentage in the NBA. With limited resources in the offseason, few moves were made to the roster.
