In recent days, the Boston Celtics have been linked to becoming the new recipient in the Ben Simmons drama. Brad Stevens and Daryl Morey have had conversations that would send disgruntled forward Simmons to the Celtics for a large haul.
Despite having control for long stretches, and many opportunities in overtime, the Heat couldn’t put the Los Angeles Lakers away. With huge production from their reserves, the Lakers were able to escape with a win. The loss puts Miami at 7-4 for the season.
This was not the start that the Atlanta Hawks had in mind coming off an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals last season. Atlanta is off to a 4-7 start and has looked like a below-average team through the early part of this season.
