Whatever luck the New York Rangers have been having with wins, have suddenly turned around to losses. Winning only one game this week leaves fans wondering if they are truly ready to take on the world.

You might think that missing two of your top-six forwards would upset the delicate balance that Gerard Gallant has put into place for the New York Rangers. The absence of Kaapo Kakko and Ryan Strome is noticeable, especially when looking at the offensive play of the team.

While the first half of the 2020-2021 season made the Nashville Predators’ playoff hopes seem bleak, their second half was absolutely phenomenal. Winning 20 out of their last 28 games, they were able to sneak by the Dallas Stars and make the playoffs as the fourth team from the revamped Central Division.
