With the victory against Atlanta, the Miami Heat are 27-15 on the season. Here are my takeaways from Friday’s win over the Hawks.
Wednesday was the first of a two-game home-and-home series for the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks. Nothing was easy for the Hawks on the offensive end as they fell 115-91. With the win, Miami improves to 26-15 for the season.
While O’Neal won three championships in Los Angeles, he also won one with the Miami Heat alongside Dwyane Wade. Despite not being as dominant as he once was, Shaq served as a great second option behind Wade.
This may have been the best Miami Heat win of the season, and this has been said plenty of times. However, given the circumstances and the available players, this victory ranks first.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler have had a contentious relationship in the past, but that may be changing.
