For the second straight game, the Miami Heat found themselves in a close one at home. Just like they did against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, the Heat found a way to beat the Atlanta Hawks. The Heat overcame a 117-111 deficit with less than a minute left in regulation to force overtime, where the team went on a 16-0 run to close the game. The win improves the Heat’s home record to 11-0 for the season.

Another game. Another win. The Miami Heat took care of business Saturday by defeating the short-handed New Orleans Pelicans 109-94. The victory pushes the Heat record to 9-3, tying their best start in franchise history.
Welcome back to the Saturday edition of my NBA DFS Picks. My goal with this article is to walk you through the games to find which places we should attack this seven-game slate. This week, the Miami Heat has been building up big leads. And they also have given them up as well. Playing from ahead has been an ongoing lesson for the team, which was the case against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. After trailing by as many as 27 in the second half, the Cavaliers crept back into the game and cut the Heat’s lead to 10 midway into the fourth quarter. Ultimately, the Heat left Cleveland with a 108-97 victory to improve their record to 8-3 for the season.
