Heller’s Five Bold Predictions: NFC North
While there are a few questions left to be answered around the league, it’s never too early for bold predictions for each of the NFL’s eight divisions. Here are those predictions for the NFC North.

The Chicago Bears underwent a fairly large transformation this offseason, moving on from Mitchell Trubisky and replacing him with a different first-round quarterback in Justin Fields. While the Ohio State product might not start for the Bears right away, his eventual emergence should equate to further success (both on the field and in fantasy leagues) for Chicago’s entire offense.
As the summer heats up, NFL training camps get closer and closer to opening. The Bears will report to Halas Hall in Lake Forest, IL on Tuesday, July 27. It is expected that the biggest decisions the Bears’ coaching staff will have to make will be on the offensive side of the ball.
A second NFC North team is unveiled in today’s power rankings article. The Lions were revealed as the 30th-ranked team a few short weeks ago, and now it is time for the Chicago Bears dissection as the 27th-ranked team following the Eagles and Dolphins in recent days.
With the 2021 NFL Draft over and the schedule officially being released, it’s time for my third annual 32 part series where the top three questions will be posed for each NFL team. Here are those three questions for the Chicago Bears.
As the 2020 season came to a predictable end for the Chicago Bears, the fanbase had little to look forward to. The team was stuck in neutral, was up against the salary cap, and therefore restricted from making significant changes to the core of the team.
We have hit the boring part of the year. The 2021 NFL Draft is in the rearview mirror, and the regular season is still four months away. After making the playoffs last season, Washington had the 19th pick in the draft.
Bears General Manager, Ryan Pace, was all about making moves in the 2021 draft. In fact, outside of the compensatory picks, the Bears did not draft from their original draft position in any of the seven rounds of the draft. They were all acquired during trades. The Bears had seven total picks after trading up twice in the first two rounds and trading back in round six. In moving up, they lost their first and fourth-round pick in 2022. Pace definitely made a splash in this year’s draft.
The NFL Draft in Cleveland has officially concluded and we break down the entire first round. We also talk about some notable picks outside of night one.
The dust is still settling from a chaotic first round last night. Trades all over the place, players sliding and players rising… it seemed to be a night that no one could have predicted.
The 2021 NFL Draft is just hours away. While fan bases get ready to see who their favorite team picks, gamblers are looking for the best prop bets.
Merry Christmas everybody! The 2021 NFL Draft starts tonight and we will finally know which players will land with what team.
