The Brewers acquired lefty reliever Xavier Cedeno from the White Sox, starter Gio Gonzalez from the Nationals, and Curtis Granderson from the Blue Jays. These moves improve the Brewers for the stretch run and show how they are serious about competing this season. Each player provides an upgrade to the Brewers in a major way. For Milwaukee, it will be an exciting ride down the stretch.
