The Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars face-off Sunday with both teams looking to notch their second win of the season. The Lions are coming off their bye week with a 1-3 record, while the Jaguars enter the game at 1-4, including a four-game losing streak following last week’s 30-14 loss to the Texans.
In a battle of teams looking to stay afloat in the NFC, The New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions scored 42 points in the first half to put the over easily within reach. It was destined to be a shootout, the question was which team would get to .500. We now know it is the Saints.
The New Orleans Saints (1-2) are set to face the Detroit Lions (1-2) at 1 p.m. ET. Initially, Saints fullback Michael Burton tested positive for COVID on Saturday as per Ian Rapoport. The Athletic is now reporting his second test came back negative as did the tests of the players with close contact with Burton. The game will go on so let’s get into the Week 4 preview.
Coming into this game, the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals seemed to be heading in opposite directions, leading most to believe that Arizona would run away with this game. However, the Lions defense stepped up and slowed down quarterback Kyler Murray, and Detroit squeaked out a win on the road.
Heading out to Glendale, AZ is the Detroit Lions (0-2) to take on the Arizona Cardinals (2-0). The last time these teams met, nobody walked away from the game a winner as it ended in a tie. This game features two teams heading in opposite directions. The Lions have suffered two divisional losses to start this season. In contrast, the Cardinals have looked red hot through the first couple of weeks. The Lions’ defense looks to redeem themselves and slow down Kyler Murray and his explosive offense in week 3.
