After the first edition of our NHL power rankings last week, things have been shaken to the core. Beginning this week, you will be able to see how many spots each team rose or fell in the rankings.

The St. Louis Blues qualified for the playoffs for the third straight season a year ago. Winners of 27 games during the Covid-19 shortened season, they secured the fourth and final spot in the West Division.

The Blues were able to make it into the playoffs for the 2020-21 season. However, their Stanley Cup dreams were crushed by the Colorado Avalanche in a four-game sweep. Now they need to reassess for next season.
