With summer in full swing, we look to continue rolling with our MLB DFS plays. It is another beautiful Saturday that has a full slate of games.
We are back for our attempt to find some studs on a Wednesday evening with a heavy nine-game slate.
With just over two months until the MLB Draft, we take a look at shortstop Jett Williams, one of the top prep bats from Texas.
After the Houston Astros won Game 5, the World Series returned to Houston for at least one more game. Max Fried shut down the Houston bats and the Braves offense came alive to three homers on their way to a 7-0 clinching game.
The Houston Astros looked to be on their way to tying the World Series up at two games a piece. But it’s baseball, and everything can change in the blink of an eye. Or the stroke of a bat in a hitter’s hands. There were two huge swings that came in the seventh inning with the Atlanta Braves trailing. They would come back in the game to take a 3-1 series lead. They are not granted a chance to clinch in front of the Braves fans tonight in Game 5.
After giving you some arms, bats, and stacks for the early slate, I am back for more! For the main slate, I will give some studs and value plays. The main slate is seven games and has a lot of good options.
The Atlanta Braves finished 35-25 in last year’s 60-game spring. While a .583 winning percentage is nothing exceptional, it did put them atop the National League East and into the playoffs.
While they are certainly overachieving this year, only being 1.5 games behind the Phillies for the second wild card, even after losing Patrick Corbin and A.J. Pollock to free agency, among others, and trading away Paul Goldschmidt, the Diamondbacks could have been great. They could have been serious World Series contenders for years. Yes, I will go that far. Even if they sneak into the playoffs this year, they probably won’t go very far.
So let’s look back at some of the major players the D-Backs traded away over the last ten years. The team could’ve been built for greatness if they held onto these pieces.
Now that squads have pretty much all reported to Florida and Arizona, we will start projecting, predicting, and prophesizing on what will happen in 2019. Here are 10 players that should break out this year.
