The Miami Heat entered Friday’s game determined to win. Miami started the first quarter strong with 40 points in the period. And never looked back from there.
The New Orleans Pelicans have made public that they are willing to trade veteran sharpshooter J.J. Redick. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Redick shows interest in being traded to a contender. Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Boston were the three biggest landing destinations that the guard would prefer to land.
This almost ended up being a bad night for Miami Heat. The team blew an 11-point lead to the Sacramento Kings in the fourth quarter. But thanks to Jimmy Butler’s aggressiveness, and Bam Adebayo’s clutch block, the team was able to seal the victory.
Make that back-to-back losses against the Brooklyn Nets. The Miami Heat came out strong defensively, holding the Nets to 41 points in the first half. Unfortunately, the Heat grew cold in the last six minutes of the game
