Well here we are, it’s the Final Four of the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. After a crazy couple of weeks loaded with upsets and brackets being busted, we now see who will make the championship. Time to preview the matchups while also giving my best bet for both. Danny Ainge has made a huge splash to start off this year’s trade deadline for the Boston Celtics. As first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Orlando Magic are sending shooting guard Evan Fournier to the Boston Celtics in exchange for two second-round picks.
At the end of the 2019 NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors lost Klay Thompson to an ACL injury and Kevin Durant to an Achilles injury. Durant proceeded to leave for Brooklyn and Steph Curry was lost most of the 2019-20 NBA season with a wrist injury. The Warriors have not been at full strength since the time of Durant’s initial calf injury during the 2019 NBA playoffs.
The NBA trade deadline is this Thursday. According to the Ringer’s Kevin O’Conner, Miami is making a strong push for Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry.
The Boston Celtics need a bench. Game after game, the Celtics struggle to maintain their momentum that the starters created. Brad Stevens needs to hand the keys to the second unit to the rookie.
