The playoffs for the 2020-2021 NBA season finally arrived. This year’s edition will probably be as memorable as last year’s NBA Bubble because of games being played during the COVID-era. The biggest difference is that the games are no longer being played in Orlando but in actual NBA arenas. So traveling between cities and playing in front of the opponent’s crowd is back in the mix.
The Utah Jazz finished the regular season atop the loaded Western Conference with a 52-20 record. That gave them the best record in the entire NBA, as well.
Jaden Springer was the backup guard for the Tennessee Volunteers in his freshman year, but will likely be a first-round pick in the 2021 draft with top ten upside. Springer showed off his defensive ability and made the SEC All-Freshman Team in his only season at Tennessee.
With the 2021 NBA Draft lottery taking place Tuesday night, a few teams walk away as huge winners. On the other side of it, there were some big losers from the 2021 NBA Draft lottery.

Young was 5-23 in the game but he recorded 11 assists and scored 10 points in the fourth quarter. Kevin Huerter also chipped in with 27 points and the Hawks shocked the world by eliminating the top-seeded 76ers. The 76ers may have been the top seed but the Bucks are the better team. With Antetokounmpo, Holiday, and Middleton, the Bucks have three legit 20 points per game scorers. It is going to take a collective team effort for the Hawks to eliminate the Bucks. Young will not beat them alone. John Collins, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari, Lou Williams, and Huerter all have to take their game to another level this series.
The Brooklyn Nets were the favorites to win the NBA title at the start of the playoffs mainly because they had three of the best players on the planet in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden. Another reason why the Nets were the favorites was because they had one of the best shooters in the league in Joe Harris.
The Miami Heat need to make some moves this offseason. One primary need is a three-level scorer. Someone who can score inside the paint, mid-range, and beyond the arc. Miami definitely lacked that in their playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks.
For the month of June, we will be ranking the top 10 NBA players at each position. These rankings will be based only on the 2020-21 regular season and will not include any injured players.
The NBA Draft lottery will take place on Tuesday, June 22. In the lead-up to it, we’re preparing by going through different scenarios that could play out Tuesday evening.
Moses Moody shined for the Arkansas Razorbacks during the 2020-21 NCAA season and is gearing up to be a first round selection in the upcoming draft. The two-way guard accomplished a lot in his one and only season at Arkansas.
The Denver Nuggets season came to an end via a second-round sweep courtesy of the Phoenix Suns. Although the Nuggets finished the season third in the Western Conference with a 47-25 record, they had a limited ceiling in the playoffs due to the absence of guard Jamal Murray.
