The Kansas City Royals have loaded up their farm system over the past few years. Of their eight first-round picks from 2017-2020, four of them have made the majors and three others are on this list.

Tyler Freeman is the second ranked prospect on the newly named Cleveland Guardians’ prospect list. The infielder is coming off of season-ending shoulder surgery he underwent in July.

The Philadelphia Phillies have faced nothing better than mediocrity in the last decade. They last played October baseball in 2011 and since then have had little to no success on the diamond. Even though the Phillies farm system does not have a ton of talent or depth, there are definitely some names that you could see playing in red and white in the near future.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Boston Red Sox signed Yolmer Sánchez to a minor league contract.
