This time, the Miami Heat are the hunters. After the Milwaukee Bucks swept them in last year’s playoffs, the Heat had this game circled on their calendar and were certainly prepared for it.
The Miami Heat had a disappointing year last season, as they were unable to capitalize on their NBA Finals appearance in 2020. They went from Eastern Conference Champions to being swept out of the first round by the eventual NBA Champions.
NBA Basketball is almost here! Training camp is set to begin throughout the league on Tuesday. The Miami Heat will be back at the FTX Arena for the first time since May 29 when they were swept by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Well, this has been an interesting summer for the Miami Heat. After an early exit in last season’s playoffs, the team roster has seen many changes. Miami has brought in three new pieces in Kyle Lowry, Markieff Morris, and P.J. Tucker.
It is now official. Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo will join the United States national team’s 12-man roster. This will be Adebayo’s first appearance on the national team. Two summers ago, Adebayo was cut from the national team.
During the month of June, we will be ranking the top 10 NBA players at each position. These rankings will be based only on the 2020-21 regular season and will not include any injured players.
The Miami Heat were just eliminated from the NBA playoffs. In the first round, the team ended up being swept by the Milwaukee Bucks led by Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Heat finished the season as the sixth seed, with a record of 40-32.
Just like that, the Miami Heat’s season is over. A year after losing to the Heat in the semi-finals, the Milwaukee Bucks got their revenge by sweeping the Heat.
After a tight Game 1, the next game between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks wasn’t close at all. Milwaukee came out firing from beyond the arc and pulled away early. Thanks to a historic three-point attack, the Bucks coasted past the Heat in Game 2. Miami tried to come back but the Bucks always responded with another run of their own. With the loss, Miami now trails in the series 0-2.
For the second year in a row, the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat will square off in a playoff series. Once again, it is the Heat who are trying to upset the Bucks. Last year, the Heat shocked the NBA world with their 4-1 series win over the top seed Bucks.
