The 2021 NFL Draft was a weird one for the Cleveland Browns and their fan base, and that’s not a bad thing. In total, Cleveland made eight selections and two trades across the three days of the draft.
The San Francisco 49ers had a rough 2020 season, winning just six games. Their biggest free agent is Richard Sherman and they will have to attack the secondary in this upcoming draft. Just over a week ago now, the 49ers made a blockbuster trade-up to the third overall pick, which the whole world expects to be in order to take one of the top quarterbacks. Besides cornerback and quarterback, their next biggest need is offensive line help. They currently have three picks in the fifth round and one in each of the other rounds.
The Indianapolis Colts were active in re-signing their own this free agency period while sprinkling in some additions from other teams. The needs for Indianapolis haven’t changed much since the beginning of free agency. The additions of Tevi and Davenport don’t dismiss the need for a new left tackle in round one and bringing back Rhodes shouldn’t make the Colts not think about cornerback early.
On Friday, the Eagles made their second big trade of the offseason, trading back with the Miami Dolphins to pick number 12 in the first round. With that in mind, the Eagles will have 11 total picks this year, so let’s look at what they could do with them.
Hidden in the shadow of Seth Williams lies one of the most lethal players in the 2021 NFL Draft: Anthony Schwartz. Anyone who watches Auburn fears his speed.
Patrick Mahomes will hope Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs fortify a shaky offensive line during the 2021 NFL Draft. Last season’s runners-up need to get better at protecting the franchise after Mahomes was brutalized by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
The Chicago Bears started their 2020 season with a 5-1 record, looking like a solid contender. They then went on to lose six straight games. However, they rallied back finishing the season 8-8 before losing in the first round of the playoffs.
The Indianapolis Colts were bounced in the wild card round by the Buffalo Bills. Chris Ballard and his front office are armed and ready for another excellent draft.
