Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman have 10 picks in the 2021 NFL draft, beginning with the 14th-overall selection, to fix some glaring weaknesses on the Minnesota Vikings’ roster. Most of those picks come from trades, with the mid-season deal to send Yannick Ngakoue to the Baltimore Ravens netting a third-round choice.
After winning the NFC East with a 7-9 record, the Washington Football Team will have the 19th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. While Washington signed Ryan Fitzpatrick in free agency, that won’t keep them from trading up in the first round for a quarterback if the deal is right.
The 2020 NFL season was one to forget for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite injuries derailing their season, the Cowboys were still in the playoff race come Week 17. The good news is the offseason has gone much better than the regular season. Dallas holds the 10th pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has several holes that need to be filled.
The Baltimore Ravens were mainly quiet in free agency as they usually are. Aside from trying to sign a veteran wide receiver, the Ravens had only one meaningful signing, adding former New York Giants’ guard Kevin Zeitler. Despite losing a couple of starters, the Ravens don’t have many holes on paper to fill in the draft.
The Miami Dolphins almost made the playoffs in 2020 with a 10-6 record. They look to build upon that success for the 2021 season and are one of the teams that hold the keys to the 2021 draft.
