Well, folks, another week has gone by in the NHL which means another edition of power rankings. As always, a reminder that a loss or win doesn’t always mean that one team will be ranked higher than a team they beat or lost to. Without further ado, we have a lot of movement this week so let’s jump in.
The second full week of the NHL season is nearly complete. With action on a nightly basis, the red-hot Florida Panthers and the always stingy Carolina Hurricanes remain the only two unbeaten clubs.
Hockey season is upon us, and for New York Rangers fans, it’s another year to wonder if anything will really change. They’ve been a little busy since before last season ended.
It appears the Washington Capitals are in it to win it. They didn’t do much during the off-season and didn’t make any crazy changes with their core players, which is understandable.
