It’s once again time for another edition of NHL Power Rankings. There is a new number one team, and some teams rose up this week. Remember, a loss or win doesn’t always mean that one team will be ranked higher than a team they beat or lost to. Let’s get into it.

The Panthers made the playoffs for the first time in five years, but that euphoria was short-lived as they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round.
As we (hopefully) look forward to another riveting National Hockey League season, one topic that always generates a lot of buzz is who hockey’s best centermen are? Without further ado, here’s part one of my two-part series that looks at the top-10 centers in the NHL.
With the 2020 NHL Entry Draft set to take place on October 6th, what better way to get the juices flowing amongst hockey fans than a good old-fashioned mock draft. Without further ado, here is my rendition of picks 11-15 based on talent, upside, and organizational needs.

The Florida Panthers host the Philadelphia Flyers, Ottawa and Detroit tangle in the Motor City and the red-hot Chicago Blackhawks host the Carolina Hurricanes in what should be a game with lots of scoring chances. Let’s sharpen the skates and go for some Ice Picks!
