Contemplating Red Sox’ Trade Deadline Options
To buy or to sell? That is the big question to which we still don’t know the answer, even though the trade deadline is mere hours away.

Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to another season of my baseball DFS content. I’m super thrilled a new season has begun, and we can get back to making money while watching the game we love.Β

The Atlanta Braves shocked the world and hoisted the Commissioner’s Trophy on Tuesday, closing out the World Series over the Houston Astros in six games. Despite losing their star player Ronald Acuna Jr. to a torn ACL on July 10, Marcell Ozuna to a domestic violence case, and Mike Soroka to an Achilles injury, the Braves found a way to overcome and conquer it all.

Far too often, surrendering a first-inning grand slam is a death sentence. However, that wasn’t the case for the Houston Astros, who allowed the Atlanta Braves to put up a four-spot in the first inning of Game 5 before mounting a comeback.

The Houston Astros looked to be on their way to tying the World Series up at two games a piece. But it’s baseball, and everything can change in the blink of an eye. Or the stroke of a bat in a hitter’s hands. There were two huge swings that came in the seventh inning with the Atlanta Braves trailing. They would come back in the game to take a 3-1 series lead. They are not granted a chance to clinch in front of the Braves fans tonight in Game 5.Β

The Atlanta Braves made a pair of trades to bolster their outfield on Friday afternoon.

The Marlins, under the guidance of Derek Jeter and Kim Ng, will have to decide how aggressively they will sell this summerβif they even sell at all.

After selling at the past few deadlines, the Giants are back in the market as buyersβand they might wind up being big-time aggressive. With the best record in all of baseball, it is imperative that the Giants address areas of weakness to reduce the threat of losing ground.

The Major League Baseball non-tender deadline was Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST. That means that any pre-arbitration and arbitration-eligible players that did not receive a contract tender from their respective teams are now free agents.
It all comes down to this for the four teams in the National League. Two will move on, and two will go home. Two teams will feel the thrill of victory, and two will know the agony of defeat. Okay, screw it. No more cliches. We’re here to make money, so let’s get down to it.
A few marquee matchups will take center stage Thursday as the Cubs and Cardinals will continue their rivalry at Busch Stadium. BostonΒ Red Sox will look to keep mashing in their series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Houston sends their ace Gerrit Cole to Progressive Field to play the resurgent Cleveland Indians. And Clayton Kershaw looks to continue his solid season versus the San Diego Padres. You know the drill, we’re going Around the Horn!
