Skylar Thompson is a quarterback that has not received much draft hype because he is probably a day three pick at best. He was good on the field and the classroom and may have played himself into a chance at the next level.
Malik Willis is arguably the most talented quarterback in this class. It’s been a steady rise to the top for Willis after entering college as a three-star quarterback.
The first thing that stands out about Jameson Williams’ play is the speed and fluidity he moves with. In short, he’s a freakish speedste.
Zerrick Cooper has not received much NFL draft attention but is a prospect looking to be selected.
The tight end class in the 2022 NFL Draft is one full of intriguing players that can fill roles during their rookie seasons. A player that has slid through the cracks slightly is Coastal Carolina’s Isaiah Likely. Likely has inserted his name firmly in the race for the top tight end taken in April.
Every year, people around draft circles look for that new speedster to take over the league. Calvin Austin III is one of these players. Now, Austin is looking like a Day two pick; let’s see if he’s worth the hype.
Chris Olave was one of the most prolific wide receivers in Ohio State history. This included All Big-Ten honors twice. He was also a semi-finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top wide receiver in 2021.
Pitt has had no shortage of players to enter the NFL and proceed to have hall of fame careers. Dan Marino, Larry Fitzgerald, Darrelle Revis, and currently Aaron Donald come to mind.
James Skalski is the ultimate college football player. The sixth-year senior was the alpha on Clemson’s defense for years and the unit’s captain. Producing as Skalski did for such a long time at the college level is crazy.
The NFL has thankfully seen an influx of talent along the offensive line in recent years. The trend continues this year, with Evan Neal, Ikem Ekwonu, and Charles Cross consistently mocked in the top ten. Cross has been marked as a potential top ten choice, so let’s see if the tape backs that claim.
After excellent performances in collegiate all-star games, Cole Kelley has received some draft hype. Most recently, he won the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Most Valuable Player award.
