Sunday Night Football Best Bets: Tennessee Titans vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Best bets

Two divisional leaders with matching records take center stage on Sunday Night Football when the Tennessee Titans (5-2) travel to GEHA Field at Arrowhead to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (5-2). It’s a picture-perfect ending to the weekend if I do say so myself.

One final question remains: are you ready to win some money? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s a comprehensive look at some key SNF best bets between the Titans and Chiefs.

Best Bet No. 1: Titans +12.5 (-110)

Our first best bet appears in the point spread where the Chiefs are favored by 12.5. At first glance, this line looks fairly high given how these two teams can easily meet again in the AFC playoffs. If history is any indication, the Titans have played Kansas City pretty well the last couple of seasons, winning the last two meetings. Derrick Henry also seems to enjoy this particular matchup having averaged 111 rushing yards in the past three games against Kansas City. Although I think the Chiefs will prevail victorious in this one, I like the Titans to (more than) cover the spread of 12.5 points.

Best Bet No. 2: Over 46.0 Total Points (-110)

So far this season, the Chiefs have played seven games. They’ve scored less than 20 points only once. Simply put, KC is going to put points on the board. And when they do, Ryan Tannehill (assuming he starts) and the Tennessee offense will have to punch back and punch back with authority. As the old adage goes, “you don’t go into Arrowhead and win with field goals.” I think this game has the potential for a high-scoring affair (hence the line of 46). Ride with the over on this one, football fans.

Best Bet No. 3: Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown (+100)

It’s taken some time, but Derrick Henry has officially found his groove. As one of football’s most-feared running backs, this is a major problem for opposing defenses. Heading into this week, King Henry ranks 10th in tackles broken and eighth in yards created amongst running backs, which is beyond impressive. If the Titans are going to have any hope to eke out a win on the road, they’ll need the big man to downright dominate. I think King Henry bulldozes his way into the end zone at least once on Sunday. At plus money, this one’s an absolute no-brainer.
