“I’ve been waiting all day for Sunday night!”
Die-hard football fans know the weekly Sunday night showdown is on the horizon when they hear this tune. This week, the NFL Sunday nighter takes center stage in Orchard Park, N.Y. The matchup? Aaron Rodgers leads his Green Bay Packers (3-4) into the lion’s den (aka Buffalo) to take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills (5-1).
Let’s examine some best bets ahead of this critical matchup.

Best Bet No. 1: Packers +11.0 (-110)
At the start of the season, this game was circled on many football fans’ calendars as a potential Super Bowl preview. But that was then, and this is now, and my, how the tables have turned. As it stands, the Packers, losers of two consecutive games, are in a bit of a tailspin.
Although Green Bay’s offense has been out of sync the past few weeks, they still have a formidable running game with the 1-2 punch of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon. This duo alone, along with Rodgers under center, has the potential to ask a few questions about the Bills’ defense. In addition, they are more than capable of eating clock and keeping Allen off the field. Even with the Bills firing on all cylinders, I think the Packers can remain competitive for the most part. Ride with the Packers on the point spread in this one, folks.
Best Bet No. 2: Josh Allen Anytime Touchdown (+120)
Josh Allen has firmly established himself as one of the most talented and electrifying players in football. You can even make the argument that No. 17 in red, white, and blue is utterly unstoppable. He’s big, strong, possesses a cannon of the arm, and isn’t afraid of the moment. I think he’s due for another dominant performance on Sunday where he just refuses to allow his beloved Bills to lose. In addition, at plus money (+120), he’s certainly worth a shot to run one in from short yardage. Don’t hesitate for a second on this one. Lock it in as soon as you can.
Best Bet No. 3: Romeo Doubs UNDER 39.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
The past few weeks have seen a steady decline in regard to Romeo Doubs’ usage and overall involvement in the Green Bay offense. Tonight, he’ll go head-to-head with one of the fiercest defenses in football. Last week, Doubs was targeted four times and didn’t haul in a single reception. The week prior, the Packers wideout only amassed 21 yards through the air. Not exactly a recipe for success (or optimism) if you’re a fan of the Packers. Heading into Sunday night, Doubs’ receiving line is set at 39.5. I’m certainly inclined to lean with the under, and you should too.
Enjoy the game, football fanatics!
