The 2020 NFL Draft is later this month. Right now, teams are figuring out who they want to select.

Two prospects in the draft are quarterbacks Jordan Love and Justin Herbert. The Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts have had virtual contact with Love, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Love had visited with the Dolphins before the coronavirus outbreak. The Dolphins reportedly have a high interest in Love.

Herbert, meanwhile, is talking to the Chargers and Raiders. It is unknown what other teams are interested in Herbert. Even though the Packers have Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, they are looking to the future and possible replacements for Rodgers. Other teams are doing this as well.

Who should the Packers pick: Love or Herbert?

Justin Love

Love could be drafted anywhere in the first round. He has a big arm, athletic ability and can make plays.

As a sophomore, he completed 64 percent of his passes for 3,567 yards with 32 touchdowns and six interceptions. Last year, he struggled a little bit, completing 61.9 percent of his passes for 3,402 yards with 20 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. Love didn’t have a rushing touchdown last year after rushing for seven scores in 2018.

Justin Herbert

As mentioned before, Herbert is talking with the Chargers and Raiders. We don’t know if the Packers are interested in Herbert.

Last year, Herbert was seen as an early first-round pick. However, the latest draft projections have him as the third-best quarterback behind Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa. Herbert completed 66.8 percent of his passes for 3,471 yards with 32 touchdowns last year; those were career-bests for him.

Prediction

The Green Bay Packers will draft Jordan Love. They have interest in him and he would be a good replacement for Aaron Rodgers when he’s done playing.
