On a night that was filled with offensive streaks, the Celtics once again proved too powerful for the Milwaukee Bucks. After a game one that came down to the wire, game two ended with a 120-106 Celtics victory.
The first half of the game seemed to be identical to game one. Boston was firing on all cylinders throughout the first quarter, only to struggle offensively and play sloppy on both sides of the floor early on in the second. Despite the Celtics’ poor start, the Bucks never saw a lead after being up 13-11.
The second half featured outstanding plays by a wide array of players that gave the Celtics all of the momentum and eventually helped them run away with the game. One of Boston’s 13 baskets from behind the arc came from Shane Larkin as the third quarter came to a close.

Jaylen Brown has scored consecutive career-highs for points in the playoffs in the last two games and scored 30 points in game two on 12-22 shooting. Not only did Brown lead the Celtics, he tied Giannis Antetokounmpo in scoring.
Terry Rozier had yet another impressive outing as a starter as he poured out 23 points and eight assists. Marcus Morris also became a contributing factor off the bench as he finished with 18 points and five rebounds.
For Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo continued to be a severe problem. He was one of the very few positives for Joe Prunty’s squad in game two. The 23-year-old flirted with a triple-double, ending the night at 30 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.
The Celtics boast a 35-0 record when up 2-0 and will face either the Philadelphia 76ers or Miami Heat if they are able to advance—a series tied at 1-1 heading into Miami.
The series will now head to the BMO Bradley Harris Center for the next two games. Game three is set for Friday, April 20 at 9:30 p.m.
