With the official signing of Mike Gillislee on Monday, the odds of seeing LeGarrette Blount return to the New England Patriots are scarce.
With a backfield that consists of Rex Burkhead, James White, Dion Lewis, Mike Gillislee and Brandon Bolden, there seem to be too many chefs in the kitchen.
The next running back domino to watch: LeGarrette Blount and the #Giants. There is mutual interest there. A potential match before the draft

As you read, the New York Giants are interested in bringing Blount to the Big Apple.
This wouldn’t be the first time New York looked to a Patriots free-agent running back. In 2015 the Giants signed free-agent pass catcher and versatile back Shane Vereen.
The Giants backfield features Rashad Jennings, Paul Perkins and Bobby Rainey. The Giants need a running back that can be a bell cow and do well in the closing minutes.
Looks like Blount and NYG could be a happy couple.
