The Minnesota Vikings have inked Dan Bailey to a three-year, $12 million deal ($5 million guaranteed). The contract also features a signing bonus of $3.15 million.
The Vikings have re-signed K Dan Bailey. He drilled 27-of-29 field goals last season and held off Kaare Vedvik after Minnesota traded for him in preseason.

Bailey, 32, is a nine-year veteran and has played seven of his seasons for the Dallas Cowboys, amazing 186 field goals for Jerry Jones‘s franchise. During his time for Dallas, Bailey was selected to the Second-Team All-Pro in 2015 and was selected to the Pro-Bowl in that same year.
Bailey also made the All-Rookie team in 2011.
He left the Cowboys as the second-most accurate kicker in NFL history (88.2 percent). Bailey also holds the Cowboys’ record for most consecutive extra points made (275), most consecutive field goals made (30) and career field goals (186).
He signed with the Vikings in 2018 and wasn’t as advertised. Then in 2019, he made a turnaround and was much better hitting 27 field goals.
Because of his strong 2019, the Vikings have brought him back on a nice contract and hope for better results.
