According to NFL insider John Clayton, J.J. Watt has his list of landing spots narrowed down to just three teams.
.@JohnClaytonNFL says JJ Watt won’t be coming to Pittsburgh. Tennessee, Green Bay, and Buffalo are the 3 teams. Raiders as a dark horse.

The Bills, Packers, and the Tennessee Titans are those three teams. The Las Vegas Raiders have also been tied to the defensive end. The sentimental favorite Pittsburgh Steelers are apparently out of the running. Watt’s brothers Derek Watt and T.J. Watt play in the Steel City.
It’s no secret that Watt wants to join a playoff-caliber team. The three teams still standing were each in the playoffs last season and are likely to make a postseason push in 2021. Of the three, the Titans make the most sense. They share a division with his former team, the Houston Texans. Watt is familiar with Mike Vrabel from the Tennessee head coach’s time as a defensive coach in Houston.
The Titans’ biggest need defensively is pass rush and what better way to address that need than to add a five-time Pro Bowl selection? Executive vice president and general manager Jon Robinson may be a little leary after the signing of last season’s most coveted big-name defensive player, Jadeveon Clowney. Clowney (also a former Texan) battled injuries and ended the season on injured reserve without having much of an impact.
