Report: Raiders to Sign Patriots Starting Lineman

It didn’t take long but the New England Patriots are now in the market for a left tackle.

Per Adam Schefter, left tackle Trent Brown is reportedly going to sign a long-term deal with the Oakland Raiders.

This is the second straight year the Patriots are losing a starting left tackle to free agency as well as the second straight year that that respective tackle became the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history.

The Patriots have former first round pick Isaiah Wynn waiting in the wings as he will presumably be slid into Brown’s place on Brady’s blindside.
