The New England Patriots aren’t done looking at talent for the team as it was reported the team brought in cornerback Bashaud Breeland for a workout.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported the move earlier today.
The #Patriots continue to check out top available free agents, working out FA CB Bashaud Breeland today, source said. Would be an intriguing addition.

Breeland was second-team all-ACC at Clemson and was drafted at pick No.102 in the fourth round.
He took over for DeAngelo Hall as the starter in his rookie season and by the end of his tenure in Washington, had become the first Redskin defensive back to record three straight multiple interception seasons to start a career since Fred Smoot.
Breeland signed a deal with the Carolina Panthers early in the offseason but it ultimately fell through because of a foot injury that he sustained in the Dominican Republic that required a skin graft after becoming infected.
