The New England Patriots have a hole to fill at fullback after losing James Develin to a neck injury.
As reported by Mike Reiss, the Patriots brought in three fullbacks for workouts today.
The Patriots had TE/FB Orson Charles, FB Ricky Ortiz and RB/FB George Aston in for free-agent workouts. The team is always updating emergency lists.

Ortiz, 25, went undrafted in 2017 and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens where he spent his rookie season.
He was signed by the Atlanta Falcons and spent the 2018 season with them.
He was released in September with an injury settlement.
Charles, 28, was selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals has bounced around the NFL his entire career.
He has experience at both tight end and fullback.
He was most recently drafted by the DC Defenders of the XFL.
Aston, 23, played his college ball at the University of Pittsburgh.
He most recently played for the Denver Broncos.
One would assume the Patriots are only doing their due diligence as the team recently signed Eric Tomlinson who can fill a blocking role if need be.
