Report: Patriots Starter Leaves Practice With Injury

It was not good start to padded practices for Trey Flowers as the starting defensive end left today’s practice with an apparent injury.

The Arkansas alum sustained the injury during a goal line drill where he collided with defensive tackle Malcom Brown.

The injury is not a lower body ailment and is not deemed to be serious as Flowers did indeed walk off the field under his own power with just a towel on his face.

Different team insiders who were on the field detailed the events that unfolded with the injury.

Today marked the first padded practice of this year’s Training Camp as the Patriots get ready for the start of Preseason in August.
