The New England Patriots are adding to their receiving corp.

The team has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with former Houston Texan receiver per Ian Rapoport.

The Patriots brought in Ellington and former Washington Redskin wide receiver Maurice Hill for workouts today and likely deemed the former Texan a better fit due to his slot ability.

The Patriots now have six listed wide receivers in Julian Edelman, Braxton Berrios, Damoun Patterson, Phillip Dorsett, Bruce Ellington, and Matthew Slater.
