The terms of the deal have yet to be announced.

New England has been getting their deals done at a rapid pace as they are building the future of their franchise. This news came shortly after the Patriots extended safety Patrick Chung in a move that created cap space to sign Dugger.

Dugger was the 37th overall selection out of Lenoir-Rhyne and won the Cliff Harris Award last season, which is given to the best defensive player in Division II.
