The New England Patriots are not done with adding to the tight end position.
Per reports, the team has added Boston College alum Jake Burt.
Boston College TE Jake Burt, an undrafted free agent, is signing with the New England Patriots and is receiving $80,000 guaranteed to do it, one of the larger guarantees for undrafted TEs, per source.

Burt was not the flashiest tight end in terms of his numbers but that did not stop the Patriots from giving Burt one of the largest guaranteed salaries for undrafted tight ends at $80,000.
In his graduate year, Burt caught 15 receptions for 212 yards and a score. His only receiving touchdown came on a career-high 55-yard reception.
Per Boston College’s football website, Burt was also on the John Mackey Award watchlist. A reward given to college football’s most outstanding tight end.
Burt joins Devin Asiasi, Dalton Keene, Ryan Izzo and Matt LaCosse on the roster at tight end.
