Hastings does not have the flashiest college statistics but has experience with Patriots quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
In 2016, he recorded 11 catches for 98 yards and one score. His numbers improved in his sophomore season recording 26 receptions for 525 yards and four scores.
In his senior season, he recorded 19 receptions for 222 and one score.
One thing that might be enticing about Hastings is his yardage per reception. In 2016, his average was 8.9 yards per reception, 20.2 in 2017, and 11.7 in 2019.
Hastings joins Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu, Gunner Olzsewski, Damiere Byrd, N’Keal Harry, and Jakobi Meyers in the receiving corp.
