Report: Patriots Re-Sign Special Teams Ace

There’s finally some positive news for fans as the New England Patriots have reportedly re-signed safety and special teams star Nate Ebner to a two-year extension.

Adam Schefter tweeted the news just moments ago.

Ebner has 74 total tackles to go along with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries so far in his six year NFL career.

Ebner was also named a Second Team All-Pro in 2016 and has won two Super Bowls with the Patriots. Ebner is also proficient in the sport of Rugby, playing on the Rio Olympic team during the previous Summer Olympics.

The remaining special teams player for the Patriots to sign is captain Matthew Slater who  is currently still on the market for anyone to grab.
