These past 24 hours have been shocking for fans of the AFC’s two best teams to say the least.
The minute it was announced that former Pittsburgh Steelers all-time sack leader James Harrison would be signing with rival New England Patriots, it wasn’t just fans who were bonkers about the move.
Patriots players took to twitter to voice their excitement about Harrison joining their squad.
Tyler Sullivan tweeted a photo of two of the Patriot’s biggest names quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Julian Edelman replying to Harrison’s Instagram post with much enthusiasm.

Fellow linebacker Kyle Van Noy wasn’t as spoken on social media but more shocked than anything else.

As expected, Steelers fans were not particularly pleased, some labeling the move as just plain ignorant.
Why would the Steelers get rid of Harrison knowing damn well he is for to sign with the pats right before the playoffs 🤦🏼♂️

Some Steelers fans even went as far to call it treason against them and their franchise and basically disowned him.

"James Harrison" You have done exactly what Brett Favre did to the Packers. He crossed over to the Vikings.
WHY DID YOU SIGN WITH A RIVAL TEAM? Thought you were a man of honor obviously I, and many others, was mistaken.
Don't give away the Steelers secrets/plays.
Shame on you.— LaynaRose (@Layna2802Rose) December 26, 2017
The Patriots and Steelers will be playing for home-field advantage this coming Sunday in the last week of the NFL regular season.

One Response
You released this guy 3 times, hardly played him this year, and let him go right before Xmas. Good for him still wanting to play, if things were reversed Pitt would have done the same thing. It’s a business, and your organization showed 0 in loyalty. Pats have nothing for depth at linebacker, so why wouldn’t they???
