On what was going to be a game-time decision, the New England Patriots have reportedly elected to make wide receiver Josh Gordon inactive for their Week 3 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
The Patriots tweeted their inactive list just minutes ago which included the former Cleveland Brown wide receiver.

Gordon was traded to the Patriots along with a seventh-round pick in exchange for a fifth-round draft selection.
Gordon landed in Foxboro and started practicing in the middle of the week for the team and his absence today will give his hamstring more time to heal as well as give him some more time to put his face in the playbook.
