The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are taking their bragging rights seriously with trashing their opponents and finally received a response back.
New England Patriots linebacker Marquis Flowers responded to offensive lineman Lane Johnson who trashed the way the organization was run.
“They’re successful, but when they go to interviews, they act like [expletive] robots. Hey, stop being a [expletive] head,” Johnson said. “We can be cordial for a little bit. You only get to do this job one time, so let’s have fun while we’re doing it. Not to be reckless, but I’d much rather have fun and win a Super Bowl than be miserable and win five Super Bowls. But hey, it is what it is.”
Flowers retaliated in modern fashion via Twitter:
Yea he’s clearly 😴😴😴, a lot of hot air! 5 Super Bowl wins is 5x more fun than 1 https://t.co/aEo8M0gTzz

But it wasn’t just current Patriots who responded to the lineman. Patriots hall of fame linebacker Tedy Bruschi fired back that in the time he had with the organization, he in fact had a blast.
“Lane Johnson, I don’t know what he’s talking about,” Bruschi said. “I had a lot of fun. There were so many times that we would speak out in meetings. The entire team meeting would erupt in laughter. We were playing music on the team plane. We had so much fun in the ones that I was there. I cannot understand what he’s saying there.”
In responding to other comments made on the podcast that players would rather play for coaches like Doug Pederson or Mike Tomlin, Bruschi shut it down citing that if you want to learn the game, head coach Bill Belichick is the man you want to play for.
“If you want a relationship and a double-date with your coach, go play with those guys,” he said. “Go ahead. If you want to learn how to win games and consistently win games throughout your career, you play for Bill Belichick.”

Hey Lane, act like you’ve been there before, oh, wait, you can’t because you haven’t.
That’s right Trey and Tedy.
