New England Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski sustained a concussion after a brutal hit by safety Barry Church in the AFC Championship.
Gronkowski has been out of practice and on concussion protocol in the start of preparation for the Super Bowl but encouraging news has come out early this afternoon that Gronkowski returned to practice today.
NESN reporter Zach Cox tweeted this video of Gronkowski going throught drills at practice today.

Good News on Brady and Wise
More good news for the Patriots and their fans as quarterback Tom Brady seems to have gotten over the hand injury as he was seen without a glove on his throwing hand during today’s practice.

Defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. returned to practice today for the first time this week during the full pads session however his line mate defensive tackle Malcom Brown did not participate.
The Patriots play the Philadelphia Eagles next week in the Super Bowl on Sunday Feb.4th at 6:30 p.m.
