Report: Offensive Lineman Done for Year

The worst that could have happened to Isaiah Wynn for an injury happened as the New England Patriots’ first selection of this year’s draft is out for the season.

NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted the news within the hour.

Wynn (21), tore his achilles during a play in this past preseason games where he needed to be carted off the field.

The Georgia alum was drafted with pick No.23 that the Patriots received in return for trading wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the Los Angeles Rams.

The Patriots drafted Wynn’s teammate at No.31 Sony Michel who is also injured and had to have his knee drained.
