New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s throwing hand injury was talked about non-stop in the days leading up to the AFC Championship and it hasn’t let up.

This time the news is encouraging for fans as NFL.com reported that the stitches were reportedly removed from the quarterback’s hand.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport tweeted the news just earlier today.

However Brady stressed in an interview with ESPN that it is still a work in progress to get it back to full strength.

“I’m still working on it,” Brady said. “Again, it was only 11 days ago when I hurt it, but I think we’re in a decent place and hopefully it can get better over the course of the next seven days. Not quite where I want it to be right now, but hopefully by game time it should be.”
